The short version
Life Lattice keeps your plans so you can use them on your devices and share what you choose with your family or groups. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use your information for anything else.
What Life Lattice keeps
- Your account: your email address and the name you give.
- What you put in: tasks, events, lists, binders, habits, goals, notes, journal entries, files and photos you add, and your settings.
- What keeps the app working: which devices are signed in, when they last synced, and short error notes (the page, the app version and the message, with no email in them).
Google information
If you connect Google, Life Lattice uses it only to show and keep in step what you asked for:
- Google Calendar: reads your calendar list and events, and adds, changes or removes events you make or change in Life Lattice, on the calendars you set to "both ways".
- Google Tasks: reads and updates the task lists you turn on.
- Google Contacts (read only, only if you allow it): looks up a contact when you search or attach one, and keeps only the name, phone, email and address of contacts you attach.
Life Lattice's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google information is never sold, never used for ads, and never used to train AI models. People don't read it, except with your permission to help with a problem you report, or where the law requires.
Where it's kept
Your information is stored with Cloudflare, which runs Life Lattice's servers and storage, and sent over encrypted connections. Google connection keys are stored encrypted. A weekly copy of your own information is kept for 90 days on Together and 30 days on Individual (8 weeks during the free Beta; Lite has no weekly copies), so it can be restored if something goes wrong.
Who can see it
You, plus the people you share with: things you mark Family or put in a group are seen by that family or group. The owner of a family or group can take someone out of it; that person stops seeing its things on all their devices and is signed out (their own things stay theirs).
Life Lattice is run by one person, its developer. To keep it running he can see the feedback you send from the app, and he can make a sign-in link for any account so someone who's locked out can get back in. He doesn't open your things unless you ask him to help with a problem, or the law requires it.
Your choices
- Download a copy of everything at any time (Settings → Google & backup → Your data).
- Disconnect Google at any time (Settings → Google & backup). Disconnecting also ends Life Lattice's access at Google; you can check it in your Google Account's security settings.
- Delete your account in the app: Settings → Google & backup → Your data → Delete my account. Your Google connection is ended at Google straight away and you're signed out on every device. For 30 days nothing else goes: sign in and tap Keep my account if you change your mind. After 30 days everything that is only yours is erased: your tasks, events, binders, lists, habits, goals, journal, settings, files and photos, the weekly copies of your things, your devices and phone reminders, the feedback you sent, and your account. You leave your families and groups; things you added to a family or group stay with it, shown as from "a former member". If you own a family or group, the next person in it becomes its owner, or it's erased too when no one else is in it. Cloudflare's own short-term recovery record of the database rolls off within 7 days after that. You can also email gilsonr0566@gmail.com to ask.
